Mission Bay

Mission Bay has really transformed in the last decade, its wide boulevards steadily filling in with recently-built modern luxury condos. With AT&T Park, Chase Center and large portions of open Bay Shore within its boundaries, Mission Bay has become the city’s sports and entertainment center, as well as a hub for scientists, health professionals, and tech industry workers, giving the neighborhood a fabulous new personality.

The UCSF Mission Bay Campus is located in this neighborhood, and the area is slated for more exciting growth in the coming years. Enticing shops, restaurants, grocers, and many gyms and yoga studios along the 4th street cater to young and old urban professionals, and to retirees who enjoy both the easy access to indoor and outdoor entertainment and activity, as well as the convenient access to CalTrain, tech shuttles,  the 280 freeway, downtown and the financial district.
